Classy Mod Condition Grading Standards
Understanding the condition of our vintage items is essential for making informed purchasing decisions. At Classy Mod LLC, we categorize our items based on their condition to help you find exactly what you're looking for.
Important Note: All items, whether deadstock or pre-owned, reflect handling and storage marks consistent with their age and vintage nature. We provide detailed condition descriptions for each item to ensure transparency.
Condition Categories
- Deadstock: Vintage unworn items that have never been used but may show signs of age, storage, or handling. These items are new old stock from past decades and reflect their vintage origins.
- Excellent Condition: Pre-owned items in exceptional vintage condition with minimal signs of wear. May show light handling or storage marks but remain highly presentable with no significant flaws.
- Good Condition: Pre-owned items in good vintage condition with moderate signs of wear including shelf wear, minor marks, or light fading. Still very wearable and presentable for everyday use.
- Fair Condition: Pre-owned items showing more pronounced signs of wear with visible damage and/or stains. These pieces have character and history but may have cosmetic imperfections that don't affect functionality.
- Repair Project: Items that require repairs or restoration work. These pieces may have structural issues, significant damage, or missing components that need attention before use.
